What Should Those Who Have Not Registered Within The Registration Period In The KKDIK Regulation Or Those Who Will Manufacture and/or Import or Place a New Substance On The Market After The Registration Period Do?

Depending on the KKDIK registration tonnage; with the end of the registration period, as of 31/12/2026, 31/12/2028 and 31/12/2030, unregistered substances on their own or in mixtures or in articles in Turkey in quantities of 1 ton or more per year cannot be manufactured and/or imported or placed on the market.

Registrations should be completed until 31/12/2026 for substances that meet the following conditions.
•    Substances manufactured or imported on their own or in mixtures or in articles, in quantities of 1000 tons or more per year,
•    Substances manufactured or imported on their own or in mixtures or in articles, in quantities of 100 tons or more per year and classified as Aquatic Acute 1 and/or Aquatic Chronic 1 (H400, H410). 
•    Substances manufactured or imported on their own or in mixtures in quantities, or in articles of 1 ton or more per year and classified as carcinogenic, mutagenic and toxic to the reproductive system, Category 1A and 1B

Until 31/12/2028 for substances manufactured or imported in quantities of 100 tons or more annually, either on their own or in mixtures or in articles.

Until 31/12/2030 for substances manufactured or imported in quantities of 1 ton or more per year, on their own or in mixtures or in articles.

For substances exceeding 1 ton per year that are intended to be manufactured and/or imported with the deadline specified depending on the tonnage band, it is necessary to first register and then manufacture and/or import or place them on the market.
