THE USE OF ESBIOTHRIN AS AN ACTIVE SUBSTANCE IN BIOCIDAL PRODUCTS HAS BEEN SUSPENDED.

The Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/98 published in the Official Journal of the European Union dated 29/01/2021 and numbered L31, not approving esbiothrin as an existing active substance for use in biocidal products of product-type 18.

According to the related decision, the Ministry of Health of the Turkish Republic has published suspending the use of Esbiothrin as an active substance in biocidal products of product-type 18 in Turkey. Details about the decertification of biocidal products with the product-type 18 containing Esbiothrin as an active substance, additional time for the manufacture, import and placing on the market of the products, and the returning of the biocidal product licenses to the Institution have been announced. The official decision dated 11/08/2021 and numbered E-19020089-020-3226 was published on their official website.
