ABOUT CESSATION OF USE OF CERTAIN ACTIVE SUBSTANCES

The European Commission Implementation Decree dated 02/08/2021 and numbered 2021/1283/EU, published in the Official Journal of the European Union dated 03/08/2021 and numbered L279, entered into force on 02/08/2021 and included in the list attached to the said Decree. It was decided not to approve the use of these substances as biocidal product actives in the product types specified in the list.

According to the said decree, the cancellation of the biocidal product licenses of the products licensed in our country and the inventory records of the biocidal products; granting a period until 19/03/2022 for the manufacture, importation and placing on the market of the biocidal products whose licenses and inventory records have been revoked, and until 15/09/2022 for the use of the products owned by the users; An announcement has been issued on 18/10/2021 regarding the return of biocidal product licenses to the Ministry as of 19/03/2022.
