NEW DRAFT ADDENDUM TO KKDIK AS DECLARED AT AN AUTHORITY MEETING HELD WITH INDUSTRY STAKE HOLDER ASSOCIATIONS!

We wish to inform you that; On October 19, 2023, a meeting with the title of "KKDIK Evaluation Meeting" was held at the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization chaired by Mr. Recep AKDENİZ, General Director of the General Directorate of Environmental Management, with the participation of stakeholders from Industry.

A draft has been planned as follows regarding the extension of time regarding KKDIK registrations to be completed as of;

I.    Registration provisions must be fulfilled until 31/12/2025 for substances that meet the following conditions.

a)    Substances manufactured or imported on their own or in mixtures in quantities of 1000 tons or more per year,
b)    Substances manufactured or imported on their own or in mixtures in amounts of 100 tons or more per year and classified as Aquatic Acute 1 and Aquatic Chronic 1
c)    Substances manufactured or imported on their own or in mixtures in amounts of 1 ton or more per year and classified as carcinogenic, mutagenic and toxic to the reproductive system, Category 1A and 1B

II.    Until 31/12/2026 for substances manufactured or imported in quantities of 100 tons or more annually, either on their own or in mixtures or in articles.

III.    Until 31/12/2027 for substances manufactured or imported in quantities of 1 ton or more per year, on their own or in mixtures or in goods.

Also some other provisions on the SVHC Candidate list are as follows: 

The list of substances that are candidates for authorization will be published by the end of 2023. As of 2025, these substances will not be placed on the with out an authorization provided by the Authority.
