DRAFT ADDENDUM FOR KKDIK IS OPEN FOR CONSULTATION!

On 13th November 2023 Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change ( MoEUCC) had circulated a draft amendment to the KKDİK Regulation for consultation and to obtain proposals & opinions from the stake holders and Local Industrial Associations. The deadline for proposals is noted as 20 November 2023.

Following the conclusion of the proposals period the MoEUCC will make a final assessment and publish the amendment on the official gazette. Taking these steps in to consideration we can expect that the amendment is a solid output and will be published in the 1st or 2nd week of December. 

Other than the details on testing proposals and dates to apply for authorisation applications which are affected by the shifted deadlines for registrations the main title of the amendment is the extended deadlines for registrations. 
 

• 31.12.2026 for the substances that are manufactured or imported >1000 mta & >100 mta that are classified as Aquatic Acute 1 and Aquatic Chronic 1 (H400, H410) & substances >1 mta that are classified as CMR Cat 1A and 1B   
• 31.12.2028 for substances that are manufactured or imported 100-1000 mta
• 31.12.2030 for substances that are manufactured or imported 1-100 mta
