What is a Poison Centre Notification (PCN)?

According to Article 45 of the CLP Regulation, companies placing dangerous mixtures on the market are obliged to provide information on certain dangerous mixtures to the relevant national authorities. When national authorities make this information available to poison centres so that they can advise citizens or medical personnel in an emergency, this is called a Poison Centre Notification.
