CLP Regulation (1272/2008 EC) Training

The Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) Regulation is a European Union regulation which aligns the European Union system of classification, labelling and packaging chemical substances and mixtures to the Globally Harmonized System (GHS). 

CLP (EC 1272/2008) is the EU implementation of the Global Harmonized System (GHS) with regard to classification, labelling and packaging of chemicals, published in January 2009. All substances could be classified or reclassified by CLP until 1st December 2010 and all mixtures (preparations) until 1st June 2015.
