CRAD SEPTEMBER 2014 NEWSLETTER
WE ARE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE HAD REACHED 10.000 SDS…
We as CRAD team, providing Chemical Regulatory Compliance Services to esteemed companies of the Chemical Industry since 2008, would like to share our pride on preparing our 10.000th Safety Data Sheet (MSDS/SDS) with our clients who help us to achieve this success and are sensitive to the environment and public health, with our thanks.
During the last week, we experienced the pride of 10 000th Safety Data Sheet (MSDS/SDS) which was authored for a new product of the Johnson Wax Company that we’ve been working together about regulatory compliance since 2010. We would like to express our gratitude to our all clients who rely on CRAD Team and work with us and in particular to the Johnson Wax Company who places products on the market, that make life easier and that are environment friendly.
There are 11 members of the team at CRAD from which four are certified as SDS and classification experts. Every team member have scheduled refresher courses on their fields and keep themselves up to date. We as well use an IT system for authoring SDS for accuracy and traceability of the calculations of classifications and updates. Our team of Safety Data Sheet (SDS) experts consists of Chemist, Chemical Engineer, Biologist and Environmental Engineer.
Although, it is aimed to achieve a harmonized system under the GHS scheme of U.N. Chemical Hazard Communication still varies from one country to another, until full harmonization target is achieved. CLP / GHS criteria and principles which is in force in the EU and will soon be implemented in Turkey, will also bring many changes and developments to Safety Data Sheets.
Also, e-SDSs (extended SDS) of substances will be obligatory and need to include the contributing exposure scenarios for uses covered by the e-SDS, in addition to existing SDSs.
We are ready to support by creating added value for your products in various markets through our technical and knowledge capacity in authoring SDS in 33 languages and in compliance with local regulations of the referring countries.
With our sincere thanks
CRAD Team
