With this regulation, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry determines to be applied to the external parts of animals such as skin, nails and tail; animal cosmetic products prepared for the purpose of cleaning, maintenance, protection or keeping in a good condition, products such as chlorine neutralizers used by adding to drinking water and removing or binding undesirable substances in water, regulators that affect the properties such as moisture and odor of the bedding used in animal shelters, procedures and principles regarding the production, import, placing on the market, export, promotion and sale of external application-specific and cosmetic-like products that do not have a medical effect but are used as an aid to the main treatment due to the substances they contain, and products aimed at improving the living environment of animals by using them in aquarium waters.

Within the scope of this regulation, notification holders are required to appoint a person from the professional groups of veterinarian, pharmacist, chemist or chemical engineer as the responsible personnel.
